Having experience working with busy parents and children over the years made me think about meaning of fitness. Besides, I am convinced that HEALTHY MAMA equals HAPPY BABY. It is all about physical and mental wellbeing. I have TWO AMAZING options for you to start right away, first MOMMY & BABY yoga, second FIT MAMA yoga.

The great news is that after you have the baby you can start with a yoga class called MOMMY & BABY. It is baby friendly class.

Once you have established your new routine and finally can wrap your head around being a new mum, don’t hesitate to ask your partner or a friend to mind the baby. Then join FIT MAMA YOGA, the perfect class for weight management. Get back into shape, physically and mentally. Only mamas are welcome.

WHEN CAN I START?

It is all based on the healing process. In addition if you had a caesarean section, please be patient and wait for approval from the medical professional. Remember, once you are back on track with your fitness, listen to your body and intuition. First, take it slowly.

MOMMY & BABY YOGA

iS IT FOR ME?

In fact postnatal yoga offers calm and wellbeing to new mums. Starting yoga practice at 6 weeks after you give birth is a great way to get you out of the house. In addition this is the right time to start looking after yourself to recover in the postnatal period. When you provide nourishment to your own body, then you increase your ability to nourish your baby.

This is a BABY FRIENDLY CLASS too. Yes, you can bring your baby with you, but main focus is on mums.

Bond with your baby and look after yourself.

BENEFITS OF MOMMY & BABY YOGA:

MOMMY & BABY YOGA is 60 minutes long. This class is designed for mums and babies from 6 weeks to 12 months, and takes place at Casa Luz in La Carretera Monterrey.

There are as many benefits for yourself, and your newborn baby.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

First, exercise or yoga mat.

Second, cosy blanket, so the baby can comfortably be lying on the floor in front of you.

Third, a bottle of water – hydration is very important.


FIT MAMA YOGA

After giving birth some women are experiencing postpartum depression, or they feel they are not themselves due to their body changing in pregnancy.

I did struggle too. First, I felt like I was losing control, my body was changing so fast. Second, I couldn’t cope with the intensity of this new reality. Thank goodness for yoga and the support of other mums. 

Moreover, as a new mum you have to look after your physical and mental health there is nothing more important. What’s more only this way you will be able to provide and care for your child and enjoy the journey of motherhood.

It is a full of movement yoga practice, and consists of challenging, but not too complicated poses. Yoga flow incorporates a variety of asanas that are beneficial for your body and mind. Enjoy ‘ME’ time. This class takes place at Casa Luz in La Carretera Monterrey.
